Order your Bulletin
The Festivals Bulletin is the music teachers handbook for Festival participation as it relates to your students.
The bulletin contains guidelines on participation, has a list of nationally approved performance pieces by skill level, and the current one is good through year 2024. Follow the link below and select ‘Bulletin’ to order yours from the NFMC website.
To register your studio for Charlotte Festival please complete the following steps
*Dues for step 1 and 2 must be submitted by November 1 2023. There is a 15$ fee for late applications.
This year we have migrated to Google Forms. Filling these out requires no pen/paper, use of the USPS, or printing of documents. This new process will save time for Festival workers and registrants during the process.

Register your studio with ‘Charlotte Music Club’. Please fill out the Google Form linked below. Venmo and Zelle QR code for dues can be found in the Google Form.

Register your junior club with the ‘North Carolina Federation of Music Clubs’ by completing the appropriate Google Form below.

Register for ‘Vivace’. Vivace is our online database where you will enroll your students for Charlotte Festival participation.

Once you have received an invoice from Vivace (mid January), complete your registration by paying your Vivace dues using payment links below. Please write ‘Vivace dues’ in the charge description.

If you are entering in Charlotte Festival volunteering would be very much appreciated for day of logistics. Volunteering opportunities include:
-judging/hall monitoring/providing refreshments/set up and tear down/front desk check in/theory room monitor and test grading

Federation Cup
The Federation [Gold] Cup Award Plan offers additional incentive to ALL entrants in the Junior Festivals Program. Cups are awarded on a point system based on Junior Festival ratings. Participation is OPTIONAL, however if the entrant does not want to participate in the Federation Cup Plan, the teacher must remember to "opt out" when registering with Vivace.
